Back home in Winnipeg after six amazing weeks in Louisiana, playing shows and writing for my next record. The days were filled with incredible people, food, music, dance, sprawling sunsets over prairies and golden hour through Spanish moss on the bayou. It’s always deeply meaningful to feel my music resonate with audiences, play with world-class musicians and be inspired by the land of Southwest Louisiana, which reminds me of the prairies and marshes of home. Many thanks to everyone who came out to a show, invited me in or shared a dance. I’m looking forward to a few special upcoming shows and hunkering down to finish writing this record!
