We were so swept up in Andrina’s songs and stories that our feet didn’t touch the ground until the last note faded out. Andrina’s performance was so magical that the mayor of Abbeville ran to City Hall to present her with a key to the City after the show.
Those humans are rare. I know there were other people watching that show who felt like they were there on stage with her - that she would make them feel seen by her, because of her vulnerability with the stories she shared, and how she shared them with us.
